Tasseophotography (from the word Tasseographythe ancient art of reading tea leaves. Later this term was applied to a divination or fortune-telling method that interprets patterns in coffee grounds).
These photos are the visual manifestations of supposedly psychic energies captured by the shapes and contours of coffee sediments.
Interpreting the photos, a viewer is getting involved in the process of reading a cup: someone’s fortune and physiological state.
